We follow the discoveries, ideas, people, places, and innovations that expand our understanding of what is possible—from the far reaches of the cosmos to the strange, ingenious, and unexpected things happening here on Earth. Our mission is to approach every story with curiosity, credibility, and a sense of adventure, making complex ideas accessible while celebrating the wonder of exploration and discovery.
Galactic Bazaar began with founder Jeric Wilhelmsen’s lifelong fascination with space, technology, and the possibilities that emerge when people explore beyond the familiar. Just as important has been his long involvement in clubs, organizations, and communities, which sparked an equally strong interest in people, culture, and the ways shared passions bring us together. Drawing on his background in video journalism and storytelling, Jeric brought together a group of fellow video journalists to create Galactic Bazaar—a place to explore remarkable ideas, unusual stories, emerging technologies, distant worlds, and the fascinating people shaping our own.
Jeric Wilhelmsen is the Senior Video Producer and Editor-in-Chief of Galactic Bazaar. A lifelong enthusiast of space, technology, video journalism, and digital media, he brings decades of experience in visual storytelling, production, and creative communication to the publication. His curiosity about how technology changes the way we explore, communicate, and understand the world is at the heart of Galactic Bazaar, where he helps shape stories that are informative, visually engaging, and driven by a genuine sense of discovery.
